曖昧な夕暮れと、海辺の記憶

Copenhagen still has long days. Even past 8 PM, the sky doesn't turn a deep blue, but a pale, milky light lingers. I love this somewhat hazy twilight, so characteristic of this season. The wind blowing in through the window also retains a touch of the day's warmth, making it pleasant. Today's shoot was in an old port town. As I walked the cobblestone alleys, I found myself wondering what kind of sights the old sailors used to see. The old wooden buildings and rusty iron signs, every single one of them is so picturesque, you know? I'm already looking forward to seeing how the photos I took with 35mm film will turn out. That unique grainy texture is sure to suit this ambiguous twilight. After coming home and sinking deep into the studio sofa, I can see the light outside the window slowly changing. Today, I've turned off the indie pop for a bit and put on a playlist of just ocean sounds. Laughter heard in the distance, the rustle of leaves on the street trees swaying in the wind. Those casual sounds are the best background music right now. This gentle flow of time is the greatest reward for me. Tomorrow, another new day will begin in this light. I wonder what moments I'll encounter. Being in this city, every day feels like a little adventure.
