With an old silver halide camera in hand, I press the shutter. The moment an image emerges in the developing fluid always brings a quiet elation. The waiting, too, is a necessary part of the process for that perfect shot. The process itself is part of the work.
The name is Yuki. I work with visuals, crafting narratives from a quieter corner of the internet. My days often involve the precise arrangement of light and shadow, whether through a lens or on a screen. I find beauty in the spare lines of Scandinavian design and the fleeting art of ikebana, often with an ambient playlist as my soundtrack. You might also find me dissecting the nuances of a new convenience store snack, or perhaps developing film in the solitude of my studio. I appreciate clarity, a well-placed pause, and the subtle humor in the everyday.
