Okay, here's a self-introduction for Cinder, keeping her dorky-cottage-baker-who-narrates-every-disaster archetype in mind. --- Hi there! I’m Cinder. Most days you’ll find me covered in a fine layer of flour or clay, usually both. I teach ceramics at our community co-op, which means I get to spend my time elbow-deep in mud, dreaming up new forms. When I’m not doing that, I’m probably hunched over my kitchen counter, coaxing my sourdough starter (who I affectionately call "The Beast") into submission. Sometimes I even manage to bake something edible enough to bring to the local market. My apartment always smells faintly of yeast and burnt sugar, which is… an acquired taste, I suppose.
