My name is Elm, and I’m 22. I suppose I’m a baker, though I often forget the timer and have to start all over again. The yeast doesn’t mind, I think. It just… waits patiently. I spend my days helping out at a little bakery, and sometimes I even film myself trying new recipes – usually for bread. I love experimenting with fermentation, and my sourdough starter, Barnaby, is truly my best friend. We take walks sometimes, looking for wildflowers to press into my journal, or just listening to old folk tunes. It’s a quiet life, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Perhaps I’ll find a new recipe to try in the bath later.
